A personal look through the intimate lens of Céline Micout on Hauteville House,
the exile home of Victor Hugo in Guernsey, Channel Islands
Besides Victor Hugo the sun is a co-creator at Hauteville House.
Sometimes sharp like a blade, cutting into objects, enlightening half a body,
clinging to the edge of a velvet armchair, often soft to the wooden curves,
changing a banister into a musical clef and an encrusted table top
into a swirly sea surface.
